3 Day Gorilla Tracking to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park from Kigali, Rwanda is designed for travelers who wish to spend less time on the road, while also saving on the cost of the gorilla
permit. This is because the Kigali to Bwindi journey takes a shorter time (4 to 5hrs) as compared to the 8 to 9hrs that would be spent if one used the Entebbe to Bwindi route. Furthermore, the Uganda Gorilla trekking permit is also cheaper as it costs only $800 as compared to $1500 of the Rwanda gorilla trekking. This kind of arrangement makes the safari more interesting but less costly, making it feasible as one can fly in to Rwanda and trek gorillas from Bwindi. The safari is also ideal for those staying

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    You will be picked from Kigali International Airport/Any Hotel in Kigali to start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You are free to visit Kigali city depending on the time available. Should you be out of time, you could choose to do the city tour on your way back from Uganda. The journey is very scenic and will take you through a country of a thousand hills to the Pearl of Africa. You cross over to Uganda at Katuna or Chanika boarder for a stop at Kabale town (Katuna) or Kisoro (Chanika) before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for overnight.

    Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    After breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will be transferred to the park for briefing about gorilla trekking. Your guide will take you through all the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas and after that, you will begin your trek after being divided into groups of eight. After you have found the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. After the trek, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi.

    You will have a panoromic view of the lake and later take a canoe to explore Lake Bunyonyi.
