Your 3 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour around the eastern half of Morocco start, you will travel in style in a modern air-conditioned 4WD/minibus. Our guide will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel at 07:30 AM and escort you to the departure point. We will head for Ouarzazate, the door way of Sahara, crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi- N-Tichka pass.
We will travel over the Atlas Mountain range and descend into the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. The Kasbah (there are actually six of them within a walled city) is a place of wonder. Here you will feel almost like you have stepped back in time to the days of gladiators, desert nomads, and ancient trading markets. Lunch on the first day will be taken in the Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou after the sightseeing tour has finished
Our next stop on our first day will be at Ouarzazate. We will admire the scenery of a city where several blockbuster movies have been filmed such as “The Mummy (1999 & 2001)”, “Lawrence of Arabia (1962)”, and “Gladiator (2000)” without forgetting “Game of Thrones” in 2013 are among the many films which have taken in a city often called “The Gateway to the Desert”.
we will proceed to Kelaat Mgouna where each year the locals hold the festival of roses to celebrate the new harvest and sell all kinds of rose based products. In the roses valley we can take stop at a café before venturing onto Todgha Gorges.
We will cross the valley of roses to Boumalen Dades and then Tineghir which is famous for the Jewish square and lush palm grove. Once there you can relax and unwind in a private room at BOUGAFER Hotel in Tinghir with an en-suite bathroom and enjoy the culinary delights of a Moroccan evening dinner.
After breakfast, we go from Tinghir to Todgha gorges , A 15 Km breath-taking valley full of date palms. Experience the high walls of grey and pink rock around the road, as we continue trekking along the 300m high canyons.
we go from Todgha gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, We will have a break for lunch idn Tinejdad.
then we continue to Merzouga where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across high sand dunes of Morocco Sahara Desert. Camel ride as the sunset across the sand dunes to reach our nomad desert camp in Erg Chebbi. with drums music in the middle of the Sahara desert Dinner and overnight under a nomad tent.
Continuing our 3 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour, after you wake up to witness the beautiful scenery of sunrise from the top of the dunes of Erg Chebbi, breakfast will be served at the camp and take a shower then ride the camels again back to the original point as we can transfer you by a 4WD as an alternative to camels, it is up to you.
After being done with Merzouga sightseeing, you’ll be transferred to the next destination to head to Fes through the Ziz Valley,
We will have lunch close to Azrou in Midelt City.
We will head to Fes through the Ifrane City known as the little Switzerland of Morocco, and the famed Middle Atlas cedar forest with its Barbery apes in Azrou where you will have a short walk to take pictures
Late afternoon arrival to Fes, drop off at your riad/hotel with amazing stories and unforgettable memories in your mind.
