This activity has been designed by a local ‘expert’, who has created a fun experience that takes you to some of the town’s highlights and the lesser-known places, away from all the tourists. The puzzles are designed to help you experience the place from a different perspective – using landmarks, murals, statues etc - and you’ll even learn some ‘fun facts’ along the way.
The self guided aspect of this activity means that you can rush through as fast as you like or stop for a drink or something to eat as you like. The app remembers your progress and even allows you to complete your adventure another day.
We aim to strike a fun balance between challenging puzzles, a fun outing with friends and family and a pleasant walk around outside.

Meeting and pickup
This is a self guided tour - no one will meet you. To start your activity, simply follow a link in your Viator booking confirmation and complete the form on our website with your Name, eMail address and booking confirmation number. We will email you everything you need!
What to expect
The App helps you navigate between puzzles without simply asking you to follow a dot on a map. Hints can be used if you need assistance solving any of the puzzles. The App is available on both Android and iPhone.
The pretty seaside town of Praia da Luz makes a great location for an Adventure. You can combine the hunt with a morning or afternoon on the gorgeous sandy beach, and/or stop for lunch at one of the palm tree-lined promenade cafes. If you’re feeling energetic, there are some fabulous clifftop walks from Luz too, as well as water sports equipment to rent.
The Luz Adventure Hunt starts and ends at the Credit Agricola bank by the church in the center of the town. If you are visiting by public transport, there is a bus stop opposite.
To ensure that everyone is actively involved, a group size of 2-4 persons is recommended. If your group is larger, we suggest dividing into two different groups.
