This excursion is unique if you want to safely enjoy, on snowy terrain, one of the most beautiful and well-known routes in the area.
We are the only ones with facilities at the cable car stations. This will allow you to leave unnecessary things and find us very easily without doubtful meeting points or the uncertainty of knowing if you are in the right place.
All our guides are qualified and are from the area. They know the Park perfectly and can give you extra information about the area as well as provide you with the security you need.

Meeting and pickup
We are at the bottom station of the Fuente De cable car. Right in front of the ticket office, you can't miss it.
What to expect
The climb to Verónica cabin is one of the best known and most popular routes in all of Picos de Europa. We offer you the possibility of doing it in winter where the roads are non-existent and the most beautiful route.
Itinerary:
We will meet at the lower station of the Fuente Dé cable car in our shop where we will give you the tickets to go up to the upper station.
Once there, we will be waiting for you in our store at the upper station to test and adjust the snowshoes and poles.
When you are ready, you will leave with our guide in the direction of Cabaña Verónica, crossing the frozen Lloroza Lakes, enjoying the views after passing the Vueltona and the tranquility offered by the highest refuge in the entire Peninsula.
Finally, and if we have time, we will go up to the Horcados Rojos pass where we will enjoy an impressive 360º panoramic view and from where we will be able to see peaks such as the famous Urriellu and even the sea if it is clear. ONE LAST!
Extra information:
This activity includes a cable car ticket, so we need at least one day in advance to be able to confirm that we can get the tickets.
