With a population of nearly 700 free-roaming African Elephants, along with herds of Buffalo, Lions, Black Rhinos, and the elusive Leopard—the legendary Big 5—the park offers a spectacular opportunity to view these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.

During the drive, guided by an expert local guide, you'll also see a variety of antelope, Zebra, Warthog, and an array of rich bird and reptile species that inhabit this diverse and expansive park. As the third largest national park in South Africa and one of the most popular, Addo provides an unforgettable wildlife experience amidst scenic landscapes in the Eastern Cape.

Pick ups take place between 08h00 and 08h30 in the morning from your accommodation.
Or 09h00 from ADDO WILDLIFE or ADDO SOUTH GATE Entrance itself.

WARNING!!!!
When participating in an open 4x4 safari, it's important to be prepared for a range of weather conditions, including wind, cold, heat, dust, rain, and bumpy roads.
Although we strive to ensure your comfort, certain aspects remain beyond our control.
Transfers also occur in these open vehicles.
All open 4x4 safari vehicle's have canvas side covers that will be closed during transfer for a more comfortable ride.
Guests need to dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions to ensure a comfortable experience during the safari.
This policy indicates that during a safari, in the event of bad weather, such as heavy rain, the tour will continue as long as at least one participant wishes to proceed.
To end the safari early and return, all participants must collectively agree to do so.
Note that there won't be any refunds if the safari is cut short due to participant requests to cut safari short.

    Addo Elephant National Park allows us to view Wildlife in a natural habitat. These animals roam freely in a vast reserve of over 300 Sq Km. See Elephants, Zebra, Buffalo. A variety of Antelope. It is possible that we could see Lions, Rhino, and Hyena but they are difficult to find so no guarantees. Tour from 9 am - 2 pm.
