I’m a licensed tour guide Mai who grew up in Sendai and has many experiences as a tour guide in this city and region.
You can find the hidden charm of the city with me!!

This tour is fully customizable.
Firstly, I'm taking you to some highlights of Sendai city, places you can see people's daily life, some historical places. Then I introduce some local food during the tour and if you like Sake, You can try local sake too.
After lunch time, You can choose either Aoba castle Ruin or Rinnoji temple.
if you have any other requests, I'm happy to customize the itinerary.
Depending on the season, I can also take you to seasonal highlights for example cherry blossom spots in spring.
if you are not sure what to choose, I can suggest an itinerary based on your interests.

I' happy to tell you places only locals know such as my favorite restaurant, cafe and bars ..and I can shear information about this region. So it will be a good tour if you visit Seindai for the first time.

Although only the ruins remain today, you can enjoy one of the best panoramic vies of the city. and if you like history, Date Masamune, the founder of Sendai is one of the most fascinating samurai in Japanese history. so I will offer you a deeper understanding of Snedai's history. to reach this place, we can take a metro (420 yen for a round trip fare)

    This is one of the possible sight seeing options. It's a beautiful Japanese garden. It's a peaceful place where you can experience a quiet beauty. You can feel very different from central Sendai. we take a metro and bus (400 yen for a round trip ticket) Entrance fee 300 yen

  • IF you have any places you would like to visit, Please let me know at the time of booking so the itinerary can be tailored accordingly.
  • If you chose to go to Rinnoji temple, You have to pay the entrance fee of 300 yen for you and your guide and your metro or bus ticket(400 yen)
  • if you chose to go to Aoba castle, You have to pay your metro ticket 420 yen.
