Let’s start the trip with a taste of the local cuisine. Wanting some comfort food instead? You can request a non-Indonesian meal instead, which will be just as delicious.
Explore the vibrant village scene and pristine beach at Buho Buho Village. Try local delicacies as your afternoon snack and the refreshing Bido Coconut. This coconut species is unique to Morotai, and the trees are only as tall as an average adult!
Afterwards, it’s check-in time at Moro Ma Doto Resort. Take the afternoon to unpack, rest, and get ready for a lovely dinner at the resort’s restaurant. Enjoy a tantalizing meal while watching a memorable show of local performers with their traditional songs and dances.

Drink in the morning beachside view as you savor in breakfast at the resort and relax before the day kicks off.
The fun starts with a check dive near Buho Buho Village so you can acclimatize to the water and check your equipment.
This is what you’ve been waiting for: a wreck dive at Rorasa Weck. This wreck lies 40 meters underwater and measures 50 meters long. It had once been a Japanese cargo ship and was estimated to have sunk during World War II. For divers not comfortable with the depth, we can take you for a coral dive to witness Morotai’s exquisite coral landscape.
Off to Tabalenge Island for a surface interval and scenic lunch. Indulge in local food or other cuisines. Take the time to stroll on the pristine sand and explore the island.
Dive near the island in clear waters. Drift amongst beautiful corals and a diverse fish population.
Time to head back to the resort and feast on a hearty dinner. The rest of the day is your time to unwind, watch the sunset, and enjoy the resort’s facilities.

Make the most of your last breakfast at Moro Ma Doto Resort. It’s check-out time and you’re headed straight to port for the much-awaited shark dive!
Swim with blacktip sharks as you experience a unique and unforgettable dive up close with these majestic creatures. Natural to tropical waters, these sharks often make their homes around coral reefs, and our professional will ensure your safety.
For the second dive of the day, we will move on to a different spot and meet more of these beautiful sharks.
Surface interval and lunch on a nearby island. Experience a local’s typical lunch and get to know more of the traditional cuisine in the region, although you can also request other menus to suit your preference.
Explore the wreck of an illegal fishing boat sunk in 2018 by Indonesia’s former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti. Sprawled 20 meters underwater, you can swim inside the ruins and scout the boat’s interiors.
Take a break from the water! Let’s discover the surface beauty of Morotai Islands by sailing to several different islands in the area.
Check in and enjoy a buffet dinner at Moloka'i Morotai Managed by Sahid. Again, you can enjoy local cooking or other cuisines by request.

Begin the day with a fulfilling breakfast in the hotel’s on-site restaurant.
Dive to 10-20 meters where the underwater Galo Galo Cave lies, teeming with magnificent corals and stunning fish species.
Dodola Island, known as the paradise island of Morotai, is also home to a breathtaking dive spot with crystal clear waters. Here, you may be lucky enough to spot a dugong or sea cow too!
Lunch break is a scrumptious meal of traditional Morotai flavors (changeable by request), which you can wash down with a cool young coconut drink. Dodola Island itself is made up of two islands, Small Dodola and Big Dodola, bridged by a narrow strip that appears during low tide and disappears at high tide. You can rent a bike and explore the verdant mangrove forests.
Hop back on the boat and stop by Pasir Timbul, a small island visible only at low tide. The water here is so clear that you can see the colorful corals even from above. Meanwhile, numerous seagulls pervade the air with a calming melody.
The next stop is Zum-Zum Island, once used by General Douglas MacArthur as a hideout and resting place when he led his army to fight Japanese soldiers in Morotai. MacArthur was a US general stationed in the Pacific, and had been the commander of the South West Pacific Area when the army attempted to take the Philippines from Japan. His monument stands on the island to this day.
For dinner at the hotel tonight, indulge in a lavish spread of seafood buffet cooked with local techniques. Pack your bags as tomorrow will mark the last day of this journey.

After four days touring the underwater marvels of Morotai, spend your last few hours on the island and visiting famed attractions. The Trikora Monument was erected to honor the Indonesian soldiers who fought for West Papua’s freedom in Operation Trikora. There is also a WWII museum here where you can witness historical relics from the bygone war era.
The Soekarno Monument commemorates the moment when Indonesia’s first-ever president visited in 1957 to meet the locals and inaugurate SMP Negeri Morotai. The monument itself was inaugurated in 2021 by Soekarno’s granddaughter, Puan Maharani.
There’s a hello for every goodbye, and unfortunately, we have to part ways. We will take you to the airport and prepare take-outs for lunch, which you can enjoy on the way. Until we meet again!
