You’ll move through semi-desert plains, argan tree landscapes, riverbeds (oueds), and open steppe, where wildlife lives undisturbed. This part of the park is quiet, wide, and raw—real southern Morocco nature. What you’ll see: Rare birdlife, including the northern bald ibis (one of the park’s most important species) Storks, herons, egrets, and migratory birds depending on the season Gazelles and other desert-adapted animals (if conditions allow) Argan trees, acacia, and native plants used by local communities What you’ll do: Drive through protected zones with photo stops Walk short, flat trails near the riverbeds for wildlife spotting Learn how the park is protected and why it matters for Morocco’s biodiversity Enjoy silence, space, and landscapes most visitors never see
