    Route: Alacasu Bay to Tekirova & Olympos Beach to Olympos Ruins Stats: Approx. 9 km hike | Duration: 4 hours | 50 m Ascent / 50 m Descent | Elevation: Sea Level Your first day of hiking begins with a 45-minute scenic drive to the pristine Alacasu Bay. From here, we set foot on the Lycian Way trail. The well-marked path traces the stunning coastline, weaving through a brilliant combination of deep blue and vibrant green. We will hike parallel to the sea, passing multiple secluded bays that define this coastal region.

    Our guided journey brings us to the renowned Phaselis Ancient City. Under the expert guidance of your tour guide, you will explore the fascinating ruins of this Lycian coastal powerhouse. Highlights of our visit include the city’s three legendary harbours, the colonnaded Main Street, the well-preserved Roman Baths, sacred temples, the Hellenistic Theatre, the Agora, and the monumental Hadrian's Gate.     After the refreshing break, we complete our initial hike in the village of Tekirova. In the late afternoon, we transition to Olympos, starting with a walk along the iconic Olympos Beach, celebrated for its unique sandy stretch and beautiful turquoise waters. Our day concludes with a guided exploration of the overgrown and atmospheric Olympos Ancient City ruins.

    Beycik to Çıralı: Mountain Pine Forests and Eternal Flames

    Route: Beycik Village to Ulupınar & Ulupınar to Chimaera & Chimaera to Çıralı Beach Stats: Approx. 15 km hike | Duration: 6 hours | 150 m Ascent / 600 m Descent | Elevation: Starting at 800m. Your second day of the Lycian Way begins with a short transfer ascending to the peaceful mountain village of Beycik, situated at an altitude of 800 meters on the slopes of Mount Tahtalı. From here, we start our trek, focusing on a substantial 600-meter descent. The initial path winds downwards through a vibrant pine forest, where you can breathe in the abundance of oxygen. This section alternates between natural forest trails and forest roads, offering a scenic descent toward the valley.

    We emerge from the forest in Ulupınar, a village famous for its cold mountain springs and shady groves. It’s the perfect spot to break for lunch. We will gather at a local fish restaurant set amidst the streams, where you will enjoy a traditional menu featuring trout fish.

    In the late afternoon, our journey continues from Ulupınar, transitioning from the dense pines to a landscape defined by centuries-old plane trees and pleasant waterfalls. Following the ancient traces of the Lycian route, we make our final descent towards the mysterious Chimaera (Yanartaş). Here, you will witness the legendary eternal flames that have burned naturally from fissures in the rock for thousands of years. While resting at this unique spot, we will listen to the captivating mythological tale of the Chimaera. A short, easy walk from the flames brings us to our waiting vehicle for the transfer to Çıralı. Our day concludes with a well-deserved rest at your hotel, conveniently located just 100 meters from the famous Çıralı Beach, offering ample opportunity for a relaxing sea break.

Today’s trek focuses on exploration rather than demanding ascents, as we immerse ourselves in the most tranquil bays of East Lycia. The winding path leads us through a fascinating riot of blue and green colors, where the lush forest directly meets the turquoise sea. This trail promises to fascinate you as we encounter three distinct, secluded bays, requiring only minor ups and downs to navigate between them.

    Our destination for the morning is the remote Maden Bay (also known as Atbükü Bay). Known for its isolation and crystal-clear waters, this bay offers the perfect setting for a lengthy swimming and picnic break. We will relax, enjoy the natural surroundings, and recharge before beginning our hike back to Çıralı. Upon returning to Çıralı in the late afternoon, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may choose to rest at your hotel, conveniently located near the sea, or head back to the main Çıralı Beach for another opportunity to swim and soak in the coastal atmosphere. This day is designed to offer a perfect balance of scenic hiking and seaside relaxation.
