As the activity is all self-guided through the GQA app, you can start your Quest when you want (must be played during daylight hours), there are no set starting/ending times. No groups to follow.
You can go at your own pace, stopping for longer in one location, taking a break or having a snack in one of the many cafes and pubs along the trail OR you can make it a race and try to get to the top of the city leaderboard!

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Your self-guided Quest will begin in front of Chester Town Hall on Northgate Street across from the Cathedral. Ensure you have downloaded the Go Quest Adventures app and entered your redemption code that will be sent to you. You can start your Quest at any time.
What to expect
Welcome to Chester, famous for its city walls, Roman centre of Deva, the one-of-a-kind Rows and the oldest racecourse in England. Your adventure will explore the city centre unlocking a hidden trail full of fascinating history. Your Quest start near the Chester Cathedral then wind you through the original streets of the once Roman city, seeing the wonders it has to offer, then through the beautiful gardens of Grosvenor Park and along the River Dee then back to Chester Town Hall.
As you find the clues and solve the puzzles, you will walk the famous walls, hear a ghost story or two and maybe even take part re-enacting events that took place thousands of years ago in Britain’s largest Roman amphitheatre.
So grab your toga, put on some comfy shoes and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Chester Quest!
This is an ideal outdoor activity for couples, families, groups of friends, school groups and can be the perfect team building or corpoorate activity.
