During your Quest you will not only discover the city's highlights but explore hidden gems, learn some fun facts about the places you visit and see things that most people just pass by.
As the activity is all self-guided through the app, you can start your Quest when you want (must be played during daylight hours), there are no set starting/ending times. No groups to follow.
You can go at your own pace, stopping for longer in one location, taking a break or having a snack in one of the many cafes and pubs along the trail OR you can make it a race and try to get to the top of the city leaderboard!

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Your Quest will begin at Newcastle Castle Keep & Black Gate. The app will guide you through the rest of your adventure. You can start your Quest whenever you choose. There are no set meeting times or groups to follow.
What to expect
Explore the streets of Newcastle as your team unlocks a hidden trail by finding clues, solving puzzles & completing challenges, earning points along the way all self-guided through the unique GQA app. See the area's highlights, explore it's hidden gems and learn some insider history and fun facts along the way.
Your Toon adventure will start at the Castle Keep which gave Newcastle’s its name then wind you through Grainger Town and down to the Quayside and River Tyne. Along the way, visit a vampire rabbit, learn about Newcastle’s ties to the railways and how a local mayor saved the St Nicholas’ Cathedral, see the first building lit by light bulbs and even hear a ghost story or two.
So shout ‘Wey Aye’ put on some comfy shoes and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Newcastle Quest.
This is an ideal outdoor activity for couples, families, friends, school groups and can be the perfect team building or corporate activity.
