There is no other experience like this in Southern California! You will experience the ocean environment, the mountain environment, and sleep under the stars in one weekend. This is not just a normal "learn to surf" experience this is a "become a surfer" weekend.

We will meet up, load up the car and depart from my house in Mar Vista. I have parking in my driveway and there is also plenty of street parking. I will provide you a secure place to store your belongings in my house. Be sure to eat a hearty breakfast because you will need the calories!

    Ocean Adventure!

    We will drive up the world famous Pacific Coast Highway 1 through the scenic coastline of Malibu to a secluded surf spot for our days lessons. Your guide will point out the famous surf spots and celebrity homes along the way.

    Malibu Family Wines

    Then we will head to our exclusive campsite on the 1000 acre property of Malibu Wines where we will enjoy a wild, remote campsite all to ourselves. We'll set up our tents, kick back, relax, cook a BBQ dinner and watch the sunset. Wine will be available for purchase.

    Mountain Adventure!

    We'll wake up and relax with a coffee or tea and enjoy the view (waking up for sunrise recommended). A light breakfast of oatmeal and fresh fruit will be served. Then we'll pack up our tents and head for our next adventure

    Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area

    Then we'll head to a famous local hiking spot to take a dip and do some cliff jumping into the deep waters of a swimming hole. This is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Malibu and is a must see in its own right.
