The Plaza de la Constitución is better known, across Mexico, as the Zócalo. It’s the central plaza of the City and often referred to as the central plaza of the entire country. Chapultepec Castle is located on top of Chapultepec Hill in Mexico City's Chapultepec park. The name Chapultepec is the Nahuatl word chapoltepēc which means "on the hill of the grasshopper". In southern Mexico City, a gritty working-class neighborhood gives way to the famous canals of Xochimilco, the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs.
