There are places in Sardinia where the modern world dissolves, where the air smells of wild herbs and warm earth, and where daily life has remained unchanged for centuries. The family farm in Siliqua is one such place.

Your English-speaking guide will accompany you from Cagliari across the Campidano plain to this working estate, where a Sardinian shepherd and his family have dedicated their lives to artisan cheese-making. You'll witness the transformation of sheep's milk into cheese, learning the tradition behind each step — temperature control, natural rennet, aging — and why mold is essential to the depth of flavor that makes Sardinian pecorino so distinctive.

After the demonstration, the farm opens before you: pigs roaming freely, wheat swaying in the breeze, a family vineyard tended with quiet dedication. The experience concludes with a tasting of the farm's own cheeses, cured meats, and wine.

A traditional lunch is available at €25 per person, payable directly at the farm.

    Our accredited guide will meet you and she'll bring you with the driver to the farm to house in Siliqua. The driving will last around 40 minutes. During this time the guide will give you a lot of informations about Sardinia, its history and its geology. Once you'll get there, you'll meet Sergio and you are going to start immediately to prepare the cheese. Sergio will transform 50 liters of milk sheep in a wheel of pecorino cheese and you'll see every single step of the process. After that the guide will show you the farm where you'll be able to see the animals, like horses, pigs, sheeps and the fruit trees. Everything will be surrounded by the beautiful mountains. After that you'll come back to the house where Sergio will have prepared the amazing lunch. You are going to have an amazing charcuterie board with different kind of cold cuts and different cheeses made by Sergio. After that you'll have the ravioli and of course Sergio's wine.
