    The Lotus Tower (locally known as Nelum Kuluna) is a towering telecommunications and observation tower inspired by the lotus flower, an important symbol in Sri Lankan culture. It officially opened to the public in September 2022 after construction was completed in 2019 Height: ~350 m (1,150+ ft) — making it the tallest self-supported structure in South Asia and one of the tallest towers in the world. Location: Beira Lake waterfront in central Colombo. Opened to public: 15 September 2022.
