The journey begins with 2 hour road transfer approx from Lahad Datu to Tabin Wildlife National Park, where a guide briefing and video introduce the reserve before settling into the timber lodge beside the Lipad River to explore the surrounding birds, insects, and endemic jungle herbs. Early arrivals (departure 8 am only) visit the Tabin Visitor Centre for conservation insights, while the afternoon includes a food-waste recycling session before trekking the Elephant Trail to the active Lipad Mud Volcano, a mineral salt lick scattered with animal tracks where guests can also experience the muds, Dinner, continued a night safari to search for nocturnal wildlife, and end the evening stargazing beneath Tabin’s dark sky, Overnight

A rainforest trek then leads to the Lipad Waterfall, where a natural pool invites a refreshing dip and shower amidst lush, thriving vegetation. On the return journey, stop at the majestic Tabin Giant Tree for photographs, then enjoy lunch before receiving a mud certificate to mark the tour's completion, followed by your final departure back to Lahad Datu.
