    First Wildlife Encounter - A stilted oasis resort situated above the river is the site of the first wildlife encounter. Following a safety briefing, you will be able to claim your dormitories or deluxe room. The golden hour of the jungle beckons at 4:00 PM. To avoid startling wildlife, get on a covered boat with a softly humming electric motor. As you glide into oxbow lagoons, watch for acrobatic proboscis monkeys tumbling through riverside trees, their comical noses silhouetted against the sunset. Crocodiles bask like ancient sculptures on mudbanks, while iridescent kingfishers streak like sapphire arrows overhead.
