What to expect
IMPORTANT: Depending on weather conditions, this activity could requires to change date or meeting point. It's necessary to have your own car to reach meeting point: public transport doesnt work in these zones.
We will meet in the center of the island in the middle of a landscape of mountains. From here we will begin a route through the Camino de Santiago de Gran Canaria, the most famous trekking on the island. We will arrive at one of the most iconic places in Tejeda, the Ventana del Nublo. In this magical place we will watch the sunset with views of Roque Nublo and Teide and we will talk about basic concepts of astronomy while the sky darkens. After this, we will be able to observe the night sky, identify constellations, planets and the Milky Way.
Snacks and hot drinks will be served while you watch the sky. Telescopes are not used in this activity: you will learn to interpret the sky for yourself so that you can enjoy it every night with your own resources.
