All Gone Surfing Hawaii lessons begin on the sand in Waikīkī, where our instructors cover ocean awareness, wave conditions, and essential surf safety. From there, we get you into the water quickly so you can experience the thrill of wind, waves, and riding your first waves.
Ideal for beginner surfers, first-timers, and families, our lessons are designed to be safe, supportive, and fun. Our licensed instructors are trained in first aid and lifeguard-level CPR, giving you peace of mind throughout your experience.
In the water, you’ll learn how to read waves, position yourself for a smooth takeoff, and understand proper surf etiquette. Whether you prefer a private one-on-one lesson, a family surfing lesson, or a small group with friends, each session is customized to your comfort level and goals—making your Waikīkī surf experience one to remember.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet on the beach directly behind the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, and look for a stack of BLUE chair and a board rack. Behind Monkey Pod. Please arrive 5 minutes before your lesson time.

Our private one-on-one surf lessons are ideal for beginners, first-timers, and guests who prefer dedicated instruction at their own pace. With one instructor solely focused on you, each lesson is tailored to your skill level, comfort, and goals. Our licensed instructors are trained in first aid and lifeguard-level CPR, ensuring a safe and supportive experience from start to finish.

With individualized coaching and real-time feedback, our private lessons offer a personalized Waikīkī surf experience designed to build confidence and create lasting memories.

- All participants MUST know how to swim
- Help us keep your children safe and please book anyone under 13 years old on a Private Lesson (required). Choose the same date/time and your group will still be able to surf together.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
