    Visit the magnificent Modhera Sun Temple, An 11th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun God, Surya. Built during the reign of King Bhimadeva I of the Solanki dynasty around 1026 CE, The temple stands on the banks of the Pushpavati River. Admire its intricate architecture, detailed stone carvings and sculptural panels depicting scenes and themes from Hindu mythology. The temple complex features the beautifully designed Suryakund (Stepwell), surrounded by numerous small shrines.
