Our first stop is Salona, the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. During the reign of the Roman Empire, Salona became the vastest Roman city on the east coast of the Adriatic and had a population of 60,000. Today, Salona’s ruins offer a captivating glimpse into ancient times, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts and archaeology lovers.
The second stop is the city of Kaštela. Kaštela is the common name for castles - fortifications built in the Kaštela Bay near Split in the 15th and 16th centuries. The castles served as the country houses of Renaissance aristocratic families. We will visit the most famous Vitturi castle in Kaštel Lukšić.
Our final stop is the stunning town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic cities in Central Europe. Founded by the Greeks in the 3rd century BC, Trogir has a rich history reflected in its magnificent architecture and monuments.
You will be able to recognize us with grey SUV at the pickup point 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
