2Muir Woods National Monument
Our next stop is at Muir Woods National Monument, a tranquil haven nestled in the heart of Marin County and home to some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world. As you step off the vehicle, you’ll immediately feel a sense of peace and wonder, surrounded by the towering old-growth coastal redwoods that have been standing for centuries.

As you step off the vehicle, you’ll have some free time to explore the town at your own pace. Stroll along the historic main street, lined with rustic buildings that house cozy cafes, bakeries, and artisanal shops. You’ll find a variety of cafes and eateries featuring seasonal menus that showcase local produce, freshly caught seafood, and cheeses made from milk produced by nearby dairies. Our next stop takes us deeper into the stunning Point Reyes National Seashore, where we’ll visit one of the area’s most iconic and photogenic locations—the Cypress Tree Tunnel. We’ll continue our exploration of Point Reyes National Seashore by heading to one of two equally captivating destinations: the historic Point Reyes Lighthouse or the scenic Chimney Rock, depending on group preference and weather conditions.
