Surf & Stays is the only surf camp in Weligama with a full cultural and social programme built into every week — not just lessons and a bed.
Every week includes a Sri Lankan cooking class where guests cook and eat their own authentic dinner, two video analysis sessions where you watch your own footage with your instructor and see exactly what to fix, a Wednesday Surf Community Party open to the whole Weligama surf scene, movie night with free popcorn, sunset drinks at Jungle Beach and a karaoke farewell night.
The programme is structured by level — beginners and advanced run simultaneously so everyone is coached at the right pace. Two video analysis evenings let you see your own progression from the first session to the last.
Most camps give you lessons and a bed. We give you a week worth remembering — better surfing, new friends, real Sri Lankan food and evenings that make the whole trip.

5-DAY CAMP —
Check in Wednesday, check out Sunday. 4 x 2hr lessons, 4 nights accommodation, daily breakfast buffet, dinner every night, video analysis evening, Sri Lankan cooking class, movie night, surfboard and beach transport daily.
8-DAY CAMP
Check in Sunday, check out the following Sunday. 6 x 2hr lessons, 7 nights' accommodation, daily breakfast buffet, dinner every night, 2 video analysis evenings, cooking class, theory evening, Wednesday Surf Community Party, movie night, sunset drinks at Jungle Beach, Game Night, karaoke farewell night, surfboard and beach transport daily.
Lessons at 6:30 AM on Weligama Bay's beginner-friendly beach break. Beginners get a 2hr lesson plus 2hrs free supervised surfing. Advanced surfers get an extra early session plus a second afternoon session.
