Black Virgin Mountain - Ba Den Mountain, located in the northeast of Tay Ninh City, is a famous and iconic landmark in South Vietnam. Specifically, this gigantic mountain is situated within the cultural and historical relic complex of Ba Den, which is approximately 100 kilometers away from the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City. This mountain boasts an impressive altitude of 986 meters, making it the tallest peak in the entire South of Vietnam. 3Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels of Saigon is honored in the TOP 7 most adventurous destinations in Southeast Asia and the TOP 12 most attractive underground wonders in the globe. The decades-old tunnel complex resembles a sophisticated hidden maze, where visitors can glimpse the turbulent Vietnamese history as if they are traveling back to the wartime. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. The tunnel systems were of great importance to the Viet Cong in their resistance to American and ARVN forces, and helped to counter the growing American military presence.
