Meeting and pickup
Meet your guide at the Log Cabin Visitor Information Center, located at 546 W 4th Avenue in downtown Anchorage. Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled 12:15 PM departure.
Your guide will meet you directly outside the Log Cabin Visitor Information Center. Look for a large white Ford Transit passenger van and an Alaskan Sights & Bites guide. Your guide will check you in before boarding the van.

Travel by passenger van to Arctic Valley in the Chugach Mountains while your local guide shares stories about Anchorage, Alaska winters, and life in the Last Frontier. Enjoy beautiful winter scenery as you leave the city behind and climb into the mountains. At Arctic Valley, your guide will assist with check-in before your 90-minute snow tubing session. Tubing admission and your snow tube are included. No skiing or snowboarding experience is needed. Ride the groomed tubing lanes, then use the tow system to return uphill for another run. After tubing, enjoy 30 minutes inside the lodge to warm up and purchase food or drinks, including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. Food and beverages are not included. Then enjoy the scenic drive back to downtown Anchorage. The entire experience lasts approximately four hours. Snow tubing is weather dependent. If snow, temperature, weather, or road conditions prevent Arctic Valley from operating safely, the tour may be canceled or rescheduled.
