Your journey begins with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and begin your adventure immediately with a game drive. The Serengeti is renowned for its endless plains and incredible wildlife density. During your first game drive, you may encounter lions resting under acacia trees, elephants moving in herds, giraffes browsing gracefully, and large populations of zebras and wildebeest. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, continue exploring different habitats before heading to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. This day allows you to explore deeper into the park, increasing your chances of witnessing predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action. Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and prepare to transfer at around 7:30am from Morogoro to Ruaha. Here you will view various animals and tourist attractions and go on a game drive. Ruaha National Park will have accommodation at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge outside the park, where you will overnight.
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up for a full day's game drive at Ruaha National Park. You will get a packed lunch and time to rest in the afternoon. From here, you will go on a game drive until sunset. Then, you will be transferred back to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner, sleep, and preparation for the next day's schedule.
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up for a second, full day's game drive at Ruaha National Park. The routes taken on the game drive will be different from the previous day. You will get a packed lunch and time to rest in the afternoon. From here, you will go on a game drive until sunset. Then, you will be transferred back to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner, sleep, and preparation for the next day's schedule.
After breakfast, our professional driver will pick you up from Ruaha National Park and transfer you to Morogoro. Lunch and dinner will be at the hotel. Morogoro is one of the largest cities in Tanzania, located about 200km west of Dar es Salaam, the capital of the Morogoro Region.
After breakfast, depart for Mikumi, enjoying a scenic drive through rolling hills, rural villages, and changing landscapes of central Tanzania. Along the way, you will stop at the historic Isimila Stone Age Site, one of East Africa’s most important archaeological sites. Here, you will take a guided walk through the dramatic sandstone pillars and learn about early human history, including ancient tools discovered in the area that date back thousands of years. After the visit, continue your journey toward Mikumi with a lunch stop en route. The drive offers beautiful views of mountains and countryside, giving you a glimpse of local life in Tanzania. Arrive in the late afternoon at your lodge near Mikumi National Park, where you can relax after the journey. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, you go to Udzungwa Mountains National Park to hike and see the waterfalls. You will receive a briefing on arrival and start your hike in the forest mountains. From the top of the waterfall, you can see the enormous Kilombero Sugarcane Valley, one of the biggest sugarcane plantations in Tanzania. In the afternoon, you will have a packed lunch.
After breakfast, depart for Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), enjoying a scenic drive through rural landscapes and local villages. You will enter the park via the Kisaki Gate, a less crowded access point that offers a more remote and authentic safari experience. Upon entry, your safari officially begins with an en-route game drive as you proceed deeper into the park. During the drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife in their natural habitat. The untouched wilderness and diverse ecosystems make Nyerere one of the most rewarding safari destinations in Tanzania. Continue with the game drive toward your tented camp located inside the park, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Enjoy dinner under the African sky and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast, you will go on a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). The journey will start from Africa Safari Selous Lodge, where our professional drivers and guides will pick you up. Today, you will see various animals, including elephant, zebra, giraffe, and antelope. You will also see birds and landscape scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a packed lunch and take some time to rest, then continue with the game drive. Finally, in the evening, you will return to Africa Safari Selous Lodge for dinner, sleep, and preparation for the next day.
After breakfast, start your day with visit a nearby Maasai community for a cultural experience, where you will learn about traditional lifestyles, customs, and daily activities. This interaction provides meaningful insight into one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes. Later in the day evening, proceed for a boat safari along the Rufiji River outside National Park, one of the highlights of Nyerere National Park. From the water, you will enjoy a completely different perspective of wildlife, with excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles and a wide variety of bird species. Return to your lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip or begin your journey back to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam (For Dar Es Salaam Depends with Flight availability alternatively can be back by car).
