Alzu Petroport is a unique and scenic rest stop located along the N4 highway between Middelburg and Belfast in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Situated approximately 35 km from both towns, it serves as a convenient and enjoyable midway point for travelers heading to the Lowveld or Kruger National Park. Wildlife Viewing One of Alzu Petroport's standout features is its adjacent game enclosure, where visitors can observe a variety of wildlife up close. The area is home to rhinos, buffalo, eland, blesbok, ostriches, and emus. Many patrons enjoy dining at the restaurants or relaxing in the outdoor seating areas while watching these animals roam freely. The presence of a waterhole further enhances the experience, attracting wildlife and providing excellent photo opportunities.
