Safari blue day! The Safari Blue experience is an unmissable day tour of the protected waters around the island of Zanzibar.
Today we will explore the Menai Bay conservation area in a traditional wooden dhow. You will have the opportunity to see and feel the magic of the Africa Spice Islands up close and personal. This tour is packed with activities for all tastes, so whether you would like to unwind and watch nature, snorkel with tropical fish, or feast on local delicacies, we have you covered.

    Day 1

    Arusha to Tarangire

    Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 8:00am and take 3 hours’ drive to Tarangire national park. Today you will have a full day of game drives inside this park. Later we will drive to our campsite for dinner and overnight. Tarangire national park is located 115km from Arusha, and spreads over area of 2800sq.km. you will find many wild animals that drink water from the Tarangire river. The park has several major attractions, like a large number of elephants, climbing trees pythons and baobab trees. Also, you will be able to see lions, leopards and other animals.

    Tarangire to Serengeti

    Serengeti National Park

    After waking up and having a full breakfast, you will pack your luggage in the safari jeep, and then start to do en-route game drive to Serengeti. with your lunch box packed inside the jeep. On the way you will be able to view beautiful landscapes of the rift valley, and of Ngorongoro crater. You will reach Serengeti around 3:00pm. You will have an evening game drive in central Serengeti where you will be able to see the sunset. After it you will have dinner and overnight in “Tanapa lodge” inside Serengeti The major attraction in Serengeti is the endless plain and the great Serengeti wildebeest migration, which involve 1.5M herbivores and followers. Predators use to move from one area to another in almost all parts of the Serengeti because of the drought. Our driver-guide will make sure you will be able to see part of the wildebeest migration.

    Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

    Ngorongoro Crater

    You will wake up at 5:45am for an early breakfast and see the sunrise inside Serengeti. After you finish your breakfast, you will do an early morning game drive up to 11:30am, then you will head back to your campsite for a hot lunch and pack your stuff in the jeep. After finishing your hot lunch, you will proceed with a game drive in Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro crater. Accommodations in “Simba campsite”, dinner and overnight.

    Ngorongoro to Arusha

    You will wake up around 5:30am for breakfast. After breakfast you will descend to Ngorongoro crater floor where you will be able to see all the “big five” (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and the African buffalo). Additionally, you will see different types of birds, and other animals inside the crater. You will have your lunch inside the crater while watching the nature and the high concentrations of flamingos. Later after 6 to 7 hours game drive inside the crater floor you will start to ascend from the crater passing through your campsite for packing all luggage inside the jeep and drive back to Arusha for overnight at your hotel (not included)
