Covering an expansive 3,230 km² (1,250 mi²), it lies between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast.     Mikumi National Park

    Day 1 Our journey begins bright and early, with your driver picking you up from your hotel or the airport if you’re arriving on a late-night flight. You’ll then be transferred to the SGR Train Station for a scenic train ride to the Morogoro region, which takes about an hour. Upon arrival, our experienced guide will meet you and drive you the final 1.5 hours to Mikumi National Park. You’ll enjoy an exciting late morning game drive followed by another thrilling evening safari. Afterward, your driver will return you to the train station for your journey back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, or the airport if you have a departing flight. A picnic lunch will be provided during the day, with the game drives being the day's main highlight. Main Destination: Mikumi National Park
