    Torre de Belem

The Torre de Belém, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Lisbon's most striking monuments, and a symbol of a country facing the sea and the discovery of the world. Thanks to the Discoveries, Lisbon in the 15th and 16th centuries became the main trade center on a global scale. To protect the city, King D. João II conceived a pioneering project of maritime defense of Lisbon, which was completed in 1514, with the construction of the Tower of Belém, by architect Francisco de Arruda. It combines with originality a tower with a modern advanced and well armed bastion. D. Manuel I wanted the Tower of Belém to show the marks of his power: the royal arms, the armillary sphere and the cross of the Order of Christ. The rest of the time we will spend on round tour.

    LX Factory

LX Factory is one of Lisbon's most vibrant and creative spaces, located in the parish of Alcântara, in a former industrial area on the banks of the River Tagus. Housed in a 19th century factory complex, the LX Factory has been revitalized and transformed into a cultural, artistic and gastronomic hub that attracts locals and visitors from all over the world. This space is a true blend of history and modernity. The industrial buildings preserve the rustic charm of the past, with exposed brick walls, metal structures and urban art covering every nook and cranny. At the same time, LX Factory is an incubator for creativity, housing design stores, artists' studios, coworking spaces and contemporary art galleries.

The Santo Amaro Chapel and its belvedere are Lisbon's hidden gems, located in the parish of Alcântara. This small 16th century temple is known for its Manueline style and the beauty of its Renaissance tiles, which decorate the interior with scenes of saints and ornamental motifs. The chapel, dedicated to Santo Amaro, is an important religious and historical landmark, reflecting the devotion of the sailors who passed through the area. Next to the chapel, the Miradouro de Santo Amaro offers a breathtaking view over the River Tagus, the 25 de Abril Bridge and Lisbon's riverside area. It's a quiet spot that's less explored by tourists, ideal for those looking for a moment of contemplation or a different perspective on the city. The combination of historic architecture, religious heritage and unique landscape make this place a small haven of beauty and serenity in Lisbon.
