Day 2 – Dambulla & Sigiriya Let's start with some serious Sri Lankan history! Visit the spectacular Dambulla Cave Temple before heading to the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb the ancient rock, discover its fascinating history and enjoy incredible views from the top. Warning: You may take too many photos today! Day 3 – Sigiriya → Kandy Today we head to beautiful Kandy, Sri Lanka's cultural capital. Visit the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic and explore the city. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan cultural dance performance. Your guide will also introduce you to some of the local stories, traditions and hidden gems along the way. Day 4 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya Time to escape into the mountains! Travel through breathtaking green landscapes and endless tea plantations. Visit a tea factory and discover how the famous Ceylon Tea is produced. Then continue to Nuwara Eliya, the charming mountain town known as Little England. ☕ And yes, this is the perfect place for a cup of Ceylon tea! Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya → Ella Train day! Experience one of Sri Lanka's most famous scenic train journeys. Watch tea plantations, mountains, waterfalls and beautiful villages pass by your window. Day 6 – ⛰️ Explore Ella Today is all about Ella! Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge and hike to Little Adam's Peak for spectacular mountain views. Want something more adventurous? 7Yala National Park
Day 7 – Ella → Yala – Let's Go Wild! Today we trade the mountains for the jungle! Travel towards Yala and get ready for an exciting wildlife adventure. Enjoy a jeep safari in Yala National Park and look out for elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, buffalo and colourful birds. And if we're lucky... The Sri Lankan leopard may decide to say hello! Day 8 – ️ Yala → South Coast After your jungle adventure, it's time for some serious relaxation! Travel to the beautiful southern coast and enjoy the beaches around Mirissa, Weligama or nearby areas. Day 9 – Galle Fort → Airport / Colombo Before saying goodbye to Sri Lanka, visit the historic Galle Fort. Explore the old colonial streets, small shops, cafés and beautiful ocean views.
