In front of The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia, you will be greeted by a tour guide miner, and after dressing appropriately, you will be escorted to the elevator into the mining tunnel.

Experience the development of coal miming over the time, from ancient days to modern times! See the mining machinery and look at the insight into the geological structure of Šaleška Valley. Experience how the miners lived more than 100 years ago. Become acquainted with the world famous Velenje mining method – this is the way how miners work today. 18 scenes from the life and work of the miners.

Totally renovated in 2014, this excellently maintained lake resort has all the fun and games one expects from a lazy day at the beach, from sun loungers on which to sunbathe, nearby grassy areas for leisure games and a variety of different vessels (including the more fun than fun Stand Up Paddling (SUP)) to take you out to the water. A bar is located in the boathouse, with a whole host of refreshments on offer. The beach is also dog friendly.
