Meet your guide at Nippori Station and walk together to a nearby pachinko parlor.
Before you begin, your guide will give you a clear introduction to how pachinko works, how to use the machine, and the basic etiquette inside a Japanese pachinko parlor.
Once inside, your guide will help you choose a suitable machine and explain how to begin playing, use the controls, follow the basic game flow, and finish your session. You will operate the machine yourself, with support available whenever you need it.
Because this experience takes place in a real operating parlor, you will play alongside local customers and experience the bright lights, sounds, and energetic atmosphere of pachinko firsthand.
At the end of the experience, your guide will answer any remaining questions before returning with you toward the original meeting point.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet your guide at Nippori Station. From the JR North Gate, turn right and follow the signs for the East Exit. Take the escalator down to street level. Your guide will be waiting near the bottom of the escalator wearing a red T-shirt printed with “Teaching Pachinko.”
What to expect
Designed for complete beginners, this small-group experience takes you through the entire process—from choosing a machine and using the controls to following the basic game flow and ending your session. Your guide will stay nearby while you play, answer your questions, and introduce you to pachinko etiquette and its place in modern Japanese culture.
No previous pachinko experience or Japanese ability is required.
Pachinko playing costs are not included in the tour price. We recommend a personal playing budget of approximately JPY 3,000–5,000 per person. The exact amount you spend is up to you.
