The exact area of the beach is at Mile Marker 14.5 off the highway There is a large house with a red roof to the right of the beach, hence the local beach nickname - Red Roof! Pull right up to the beach and park as you see other patrons doing - be mindful of sand depth!

What to expect

Snorkel the famous shallow clear waters of West Maui. Grab your GoPro! Expert local guides take you to the best locally-known spots for turtle sightings, seals, dolphins, colorful reef & more. Meeting at Olowalu Beach in Lahaina, your guide greets you with snacks and water as well a a welcome briefing, safety education and gear overview. After grabbing your cooler, snorkel gear and choosing your tunes, you set off to the best snorkel spots off Lahaina. The guide assists you into your kayaks and ensures all questions are answered prior to setting off on your adventure. Your HANDS FREE kayak provides an EASY breezy kayak experience as you head to the destinations. If whales are in season, keep your eyes out for close encounters with these majestic beings. After seeing a number of wildlife and snorkel our famous coastline, we head back as your guide assists you off the kayak and out of the water! This tour is the best for travel groups or the whole family.
