On your Silk Village Immersion, we don’t just show you Sualkuchi; we help you understand it. You’ll get a close, in-depth look at how silk is made and woven here, and how the entire village economy revolves around the loom.

Sualkuchi is Assam’s iconic silk-weaving village on the banks of the Brahmaputra, where handlooms, artisan lanes, and living traditions bring the region’s textile heritage to life.

Along the way, we take you into the stories of ancient sacred spaces, everyday beliefs, and traditions that still shape local life.

Because we keep the group small, we can slow down, speak to artisans, observe village rhythms, and take in the serene beauty of the countryside without feeling rushed or touristy.
