The Barbados Wildlife Sanctuary is located in St. Peter's County, Barbados. It occupies four acres of mahogany forest near the summit of Farley Hill, near the Pomegranate Hall signal station and forest. It was installed by Canadian primatologist Jean Baulu and his wife Suzanne.
Cherry Tree Hill is 850 ft above sea level. It is part of St. Nicholas Abbey plantation. Cherry Tree Hill borders St. Peter and St. Andrew due to the size of the St. Nicholas Abbey property. The drive to get to it was flanked by cherry trees in the past, hence its name. However, these cherry trees were replaced with mahogany trees that now line the road. The mahogany trees were planted to celebrate the signing of The Treaty of Paris in 1763.
