Begin with a morning pick-up at 6.30am from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, or the Delhi Airport and drive 3hrs to the City of Taj Mahal, Agra. Once you arrive at Agra, meet your tour guide at a local hotel. He will brief you on your upcoming sightseeing tour, you can refresh in the lobby bathrooms before embarking on your adventure.
Head to the breathtaking Taj Mahal (a Unesco World Heritage Site). No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this iconic building of domes and minarets. This tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Just immerse yourself in its amazing architecture, history, and beauty. The magical allure of the Taj Mahal shall definitely be the highlight of your tour.
Next, visit the imposing red sandstone Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 and one of the finest Mughal forts in India. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Proceed to Delhi After visiting these places, your guide will say bye bye to you :-) Then proceed back to Delhi in your climate controlled private car. Upon arrival at Delhi, you will be dropped off to any desired location in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida.
