Rich & Colorful Culture
Known for their strong Afro-Puerto Rican art, music, dance, and culinary traditions, the colorful town of Loíza is a must-see for those visiting the area. Other points of interest open year-round include the gorgeous Playa la Posita, Pinones State Forest and Punta Cangrejo.
El Yunque Rainforest
With an average rainfall of 120 inches a year, El Yunque has a very diverse ecosystem, hosting hundreds of unique plant and animal species, including the Island's famous coquí frog. From hiking various paths and trails, to riding down natural (rock) waterslides, or finding a hidden tide pool to sit and soak it all in, this stop alone is worth the trip!
