View the scenic Cascade Mountains and the forest near Deception Falls (not from December 2025 to March 2026 due to the road being destroyed by flooding) on your way to the alpine Bavarian village, Leavenworth.
Here you will have time to explore the cozy village before we continue to the majestic Snoqualmie Falls which are 270 feet tall. You will finish the day with a view of Borst Lake where Mount Si is often reflected.
We will meet next to the big arch. I will be wearing a pink flower fleece, so you should be able to spot me.
We drive to Leavenworth and stop at the Deception Falls in the Cascade Mountain Range. We will hike for 0.6 miles to see the forest and the upper and lower falls.
Leavenworth is a Bavarian village from 1885 in the Cascade Mountains in central Washington. We will spend a few hours exploring the alpine village on our own.
We drive to a 270-feet tall waterfall, Snoqualmie Falls, which is near the historic Snoqualmie town. We then view a picturesque lake where Mount Si is often reflected before we return to downtown Seattle.
