You’ll start your experience at the domestic airport in Panama City (Albrook or the designated departure terminal), where you’ll meet your pilot and check in for your private charter. After a brief safety briefing, you’ll board a comfortable light aircraft reserved just for your group.
As the plane takes off, look out your window for sweeping views of Panama City’s modern skyline, the Cinta Costera, and the curve of the Bay of Panama. On clear days, you can often see the ships lined up at anchor waiting for their transit through the Panama Canal.
During the first part of the flight, your route typically takes you close to the Panama Canal corridor, offering a unique aerial perspective of the waterway, nearby locks, and dense green rainforest that surrounds this engineering wonder. It’s a rare chance to appreciate how the Canal cuts through the isthmus and connects the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans from above.
As you leave the city behind, the landscape quickly changes to mountains.
