2Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) built his palace on top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. The whole face of the hill appears to have been a gigantic picture gallery. This is listed today as a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.

6Pasikudah Beach
Pasikuda beach is the pin up of picture postcard beaches thanks to its smooth white sand and translucent water. This is the best place in Sri Lanka for a Sri Lankan beach holiday because most days are cloudless, the ocean is warm, and water clarity is very good which makes it ideal for snorkeling, diving, sailing and a host of other water sports. The curvy shape of Pasikuda beach means that swimming can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Mahiyangana Temple is an ancient Buddhist temple in Mahiyangana, Sri Lanka. It is believed to be the site of Gautama Buddha's first visit to the country, and is one of the 16 sacred religious locations in Sri Lanka. This temple has been declared as one of archaeological site in Sri Lanka. Apart from this, we are going to have a visit to the Sorabora Wewa, an ancient reservoir in Mahiyangana.

9Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined, is located in Kandy. This is one of the most visited tourist destination and this is also a UNESCO "World Heritage Site".

11Nine Arches Bridge
Ella is one of the popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka and the location it is located itself describes the beauty of that place. Nine Arches Bridge is a most visited creation where the railway goes passing the bridge to a tunnel.
