This experience is especially recommended for those who want to learn more about Japanese culture through flower arranging.

A certified teacher will guide you in creating your flower art, and you will have a translator to facilitate communication and ask any questions you may have.

In addition, you will be given a vase made in the studio where the experience will take place.

As this is a private workshop, you will not meet strangers, and you will be able to ask all the questions you want.

We will be waiting for you at the JR Teradacho station (north exit). A staff has a signboard "CERAMICS TOCOTON". -If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please make sure to contact us. Being more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show.

What to expect

In this private experience, you will learn how to create ikebana following the traditional schools.

The master will guide you step by step in creating this floral design and help you understand the basic teachings of ikebana.

The workshop will feature flowers specially chosen by the master, and at the end, you will be able to take photos of your creation. As a keepsake from the experience, you will receive a small vase to practice ikebana at home.

The vase is handmade by Anna, who is a ceramic artist living in Osaka.

The workshop will take place at Tocoton studio, located in the Ikuno district, a lesser-known area of Osaka that still preserves the city's old streets.
