Valley of Fire State Park is a land of crimson, Aztec sandstone, ancient rock art and mystery. Venture into Nevada’s first and largest state park with a local Adventure Guide to explore a landscape sculpted by shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.
You’ll ride in the comfort of a luxury Tour Trekker through the Mohave Desert, learning about its geology, ecology and history while en route. Upon entering the Park, giant rock formations, maze-like canyons and animal-shaped peaks transport you to another world.
See world-famous sandstone sculptures—Elephant Rock, Seven Sisters and the White Domes—and iconic landscapes from Hollywood films. Wander among the 2000-year-old petroglyphs at Atlatl Rock and visit the 1930s stone cabins built for early travelers. Your tour includes a stop at the Visitor’s Center and you’ll go home with memories that last a lifetime.

Your first rest stop of the tour is at the Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza. Grab some snacks or some souvenirs before heading into the Valley of Fire State Park.

The first stop on this tour is at the Beehives Rock Formation! See the rocks that look like large beehives and take some photos on the rocks with your guide.

3Atlatl Rock
Stop off at Atlatl Rock where, thousands of years ago, indigenous people created mysterious artwork that is still visible today. Walk up the staircase to get an up close look of these ancient petroglyphs.

5Rainbow Vista
Your next stop is at Rainbow Vista where you'll be able to see different colored rocks. This picturesque stop boasts the beautiful colored rocks with great photo ops!

Travel to White Domes Trailhead where you'll see people hiking in the park! Your guide will determine whether or not to eat lunch at White Domes or at the Cabins.

7Elephant Rock
See the famous rock formation that looks like an elephant - Elephant Rock. Walk up on the rocks to grab a photo of this amazing formation. After stopping off at Elephant Rock, make your way to the Cabins inside the Park to see the old structures.
