After 50 years Florence has finally opened its Museum of the twentieth century!

Surprisingly in such a place of the city of glorious past of mankind: the St. Paul's Hospital. A place for pilgrims and a school for poor girls. It was one of the first schools for girls in the world, under the Grand Duke Peter Leopold of Habsburg, in the eighteenth century. This is why this building is called "Leopoldine", as it was the name of the school. Nowadays stuffed with artworks of the Florentine Masters of the 20th Century
