This tour is an excellent appointment with the history of Fashion 'Made in Italy' and a unique occasion to understand the history and the creative genius of the GUCCI and FERRAGAMO families in Florence, by visiting the museums dedicated to the most famous fashion "maison" in the world!

Italian fashion originates in Florence since Roman times and continues being famous by fabric merchants of the Middle Ages. The first fashion show in Italy took place in Florence in February 1951. Guccio Gucci was a real Florentine self made man and Salvatore Ferragamo chose Florence and Palazzo Feroni to set up his shoe factory in 1938, after coming back from Hollywood. His clients were Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn and Sofia Loren. Gucci Garden in the building of the Tribunal of the Florentine Merchants (14th century) and Palazzo Spini Feroni (13th century), the headquater of the Ferragamo Company are a must not to be missed! Tornabuoni fashion street is also part of this exclusive tour!
