Discover the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed in Peñíscola. We'll explore the town of Peñíscola from Valencia. It's one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. It's located on the coast and has a walled old town. You'll learn about the town's history and its most iconic buildings. The old town is similar to Santorini in Greece.
You'll also visit the famous Castle of Pope Luna, where Pope Luna (Benedict XIII) took refuge. It's one of the best-preserved castles in Spain and the last castle built by the Templars. You'll learn about the history of the Templars and Pope Luna.
The tour departs with a minimum of two people. In a small, family-friendly, and exclusive group, there will be one guide for every eight people, providing personalized attention, with a maximum of 24 people.
You'll find us at the Mestalla football/soccer stadium, gate A3, located on Aragón Av. I'll be there in a van or bus with the Batwalking logo. We don't pick up at hotels.
The transportation from Valencia to Peñíscola is 1:30 hours.
We will visit the old town of Peñíscola where I will tell you its history. You will also see the places where Game of Thrones was filmed. You will be able to walk through its streets and take beautiful photos as well as see some important buildings.
We will stop to eat at a restaurant.
We will see the castle inside. With texts you will know the entire castle. Each room in the Castle comes with texts in Spanish and English where they explain what each room was, in the castle you read the signs and watch videos.
You have one hour of free time where you can visit the castle garden, go shopping, take a walk around the old town.
When we finish we will return to Valencia in which it takes 1:30 hours to reach the same meeting point.
