The day will begin with a tour of Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of the world, a popular tourist attraction in Cape Town, and home to an amazing 8 200 plant species. We'll take the cable car to the mountaintop. The view from the top is breathtaking and a must-see for all visitors to Cape Town. While at the top there are a number of well-laid-out walks that can be taken with plenty of view sites for photo opportunities.
From Table Mountain, we'll proceed to Robben Island by ferry boat. Robben Island is a world heritage site popular for its notorious maximum-security prison and the place where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Here, you'll meet some of the ex-political prisoners and hear their accounts of what life was like on the island during the Apartheid era. One of the highlights of this tour is visiting Nelson Mandela’s cell.
From Robben Island, we'll then go to the V & A Waterfront. This is one of the most visited destinations in Cape Town. Some of the things to see and do includes: Visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium, Sailing, Panoramic views of Cape Town on the Cape Wheel, High Tea at the One & Only, discovering gems at Scratch Patch, Shopping for local art, fashion, and design at The Watershed, Say SUP. Arts and Culture, Eat and drink, health and wellness, Nightlife and Shopping.
Our tour will start with a pickup at your accommodation in Cape Town then head to Table Mountain.
We'll pass by Bo-Kaap for a photo opportunity with colorful houses and learn a bit about their historical meaning.
From Bo-Kaap, we'll head to the Table Mountain Cableway Station and take the cable car to the mountaintop to explore and see Cape Town from the top.
From Table Mountain, we'll drive along Camps Bay and the Atlantic Sea Board to see beautiful and magnificent views and an opportunity to take spectacular pictures of Camps Bay Beach, Table Mountain, Clifton, etc.
We will stop at World of Birds Harbor in Hout bay and explore for about 15 minutes.
This is one of the most scenic views in the world, it's beautiful and breathtaking. We will drive along Chapman's Peak stopping at certain viewpoints for an opportunity to take spectacular pictures. A must-see for all visitors to Cape Town.
We will take a small break and have lunch
After lunch, we'll drive to the Penguins Colony in Boulders beach to see roughly 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins at a close range.
From the Penguins Colony, we'll then take a drive to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, which are in the same proximity. This is the most south-western point of the African continent, and a meeting point of two oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean, a spectacular sight with towering stone cliffs, breathtaking bays, beaches, and rolling green hills and valleys. From Cape Point, we'll return to drop off at the guests' accommodation in Cape Town.
