Discover São Miguel through a curated itinerary combining waterfalls, nature trails, authentic landscapes and historical watermills. This full-day experience includes hotel pickup, guided hikes, swimming opportunities and a visit to one of the island’s most iconic natural parks.
You’ll explore waterfalls of different sizes, walk through lush forest paths, see a small blue waterfall, and visit the charming Ribeira dos Caldeirões park with its ancient watermills and the famous main cascade.
Lunch is enjoyed at a traditional Azorean buffet restaurant (not included in the tour price).

Your stop is a scenic trail featuring two large waterfalls and one small waterfall. Here, you’ll have the chance to swim in one of them if you feel like it and enjoy the refreshing waters

Next, we’ll go to another picturesque trail leading to a small waterfall with striking blue water. During heavy rains and strong streams, the water might appear in other beautiful shades. Swimming is possible here as well, so don’t forget your swimsuit!

After your morning adventure, we’ll stop at a local Azorean restaurant for a buffet-style lunch, enjoying traditional flavors of the island.

4Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeiroes
Post lunch, we’ll head to the Ribeira dos Caldeirões park and hike to a small, hidden waterfall, tucked away from the crowds—a perfect spot to enjoy the tranquility of nature.

We’ll stroll through the park, discover its historic watermills, and admire the lush surroundings. We’ll also visit the most famous waterfall in the park, capturing the magic of São Miguel’s natural beauty.
