Your tour starts as you drive towards Alkimos Beach. The tour can be completed as a full-day adventure by choosing the main route, Pinnacles via the Indian Ocean Drive. Don't forget that this is a self-drive tour - you need to provide the car, and the driver, for your adventure.
Tour commentary concludes in Cervantes. The Pinnacles are best enjoyed at sunrise or sunset. An overnight stay in nearby towns, Cervantes or Lancelin, is recommended for a truly magical experience. We recommend allowing 2.5 hours to return to Perth upon the conclusion of your tour.
The main tour route follows the Turquoise Coast, hugging the Indian Ocean Drive from Perth to the Pinnacles and beyond to the township of Cervantes. Driving from Perth's CBD to Cervantes along the Indian Ocean Drive takes at least 2.5 hours to include all major points of interest. We recommend allowing extra time if you want to try our recommended pit stops just off the beaten track or lingering longer.
