This private summer tour takes you from Helsinki to Moomin World, Naantali, and the medieval city of Turku, Finland’s former capital and oldest city.
We start with a drive to Naantali, a charming seaside town with colorful wooden houses. You’ll visit Moomin World, a real-life island inspired by Tove Jansson’s books.
After that, enjoy a walk through Old Naantali, known for its peaceful 15th-century church and beautiful seaside paths.
Then we continue to Turku, where you’ll visit the impressive Turku Castle, a real medieval fortress with towers, tunnels, and old stories. You’ll also see the Turku Cathedral, one of Finland’s most important churches.
If the timing is right, we can stop at the Medieval Market, where people dress in old clothes, play music, and sell handmade goods - just like in the Middle Ages.
Your driver will hold a name tag, by your Hotel or at the reception.
We’ll walk through Naantali, a beautiful town by the sea. You’ll see old wooden houses, small shops, and the peaceful Naantali Cathedral, built in the 1400s. Next, we visit Moomin World, a fun island where you can explore the blue Moominhouse, meet the characters, and enjoy forest paths, shows, and games. It feels like stepping into a storybook! After that, we’ll have a little more time in Naantali before heading to Turku.
After Naantali, we’ll drive to Turku, the oldest city in Finland and the old capital. You’ll visit the Turku Cathedral, the most important church in the country, and walk inside the big Turku Castle, a real medieval fortress with towers, old rooms, and hidden stories. If there’s time, we can also stop at a local market or have a coffee in the city before going back to Helsinki.
